LOW COOLANT IS NO JOKE!
If you have ever gotten an “Add Coolant” or “Low Coolant” warning on the dash of your VW and Audi vehicle, PAY ATTENTION !!

When your Volkswagen and Audi is low in coolant, also known as antifreeze, it means that critical components are no longer getting the flow and lubrication that they need. Think of your water pump, thermostat, radiator and your ENGINE. Coolant cools your engine so if you run it low, it can overheat and cause damage or failure.

Coolant for VW and Audi is pink or lilac in color. Each vehicle manufacturer has their own specific color and they should not mix! A green or mix all coolant is definitely not ideal because it contaminates your cooling system.

COLD START MISFIRES in your VW and Audi.

Have you ever noticed that the engine in your Volkswagen and Audi seems a little “off” when you first start it in the morning, then things level out after a few seconds? You may have Cold Start Misfires because your engine cannot breathe. Over time it WILL cause problems.

When you first start your vehicle in the morning, your engine is taking in fresh air to start the combustion process. If there is a build up of carbon on your intake valves, that affects how your vehicle performs.

SYMPTOMS OF COLD START MISFIRES:
- Engine jerks or shakes at start up
- Vehicle seems sluggish or lacks acceleration
- Fluctuating or bouncing idle
- Rough running of the engine
- Check Engine Light or EPC light
- Faults for engine misfires

The above scenarios could be the result of many things, one of which is carbon on your valves. The repair for this is to carbon blast your valves. A walnut shell valve blast is an effective way to remove carbon deposits so that your engine can run smoothly and perform better. FACT!

CARBON: Your VW and Audi vehicle may be struggling to breathe. Das Autohaus has a fix for that !
