Well, that didn’t go quite like the last one. 😂💀

Last time we got a pretty satisfying break. This time the whole damn thing decided to come apart!

At least we got a good look at what was inside. 😂

Anybody else ever had one fall apart like this?

Before somebody says “JUST USE A WIRE TOOL!” 😂

We have one. We just don’t always use it.

Eric’s cutting the bottom urethane with two cold knives so he doesn’t have to dig as far with the extractor and risk scratching anything.

Sometimes the old-school methods are still our favorite.

Now let’s hear it from the auto glass guys. Would you do it this way or grab the wire tool? 👀

All I wanted was a nice video of our beautiful finished windshield… but apparently I can’t even do my job without the boss acting up. 🙄😂

Someone in the auto glass community suggested using acetone to decontaminate the frit band on a windshield… so naturally, we had to test that theory ourselves. 😂

Eric cleaned it with acetone, then used glass cleaner to see how it reacted.

And from what we could see, the results were pretty interesting. 👀

Now we’re curious… who else has tried this method, and what do you think?
