Done tuning this clean mkiv supra on pump gas using aem infinity. This car came in a couple of months ago with issues on injectors not firing correctly. It turned out the aem was fried and had to get it repair. Glad everything worked out and producing good results.

Our shop A90 supra ran a best of 8.49@162mph this weekend at tx2k. Unfortunately we ran into issues. Hopefully we will be more competitively next year.

More testing coming soon on our vr30 billet manifold. Gonna try several different design on the velocity stack and see if the billet manifold gain hp. Will report back once ready. These velocity stack were made using 3d printer. Once we figured out what works best, we will integrate it using billet aluminum material.

Project alpha Q50 preliminary test result. Just completed dyno testing without touching anything on the tune just to see if there were any differences between the two intake manifold. Below are the summary. Test conditions.
Billet intake: Temperature , 38% humidity. Correction factor 1.026
Oem intake: Temperature @99.6F, 41% humidity, correction factor 1.035

Test vehicle:
Z1 ball bearing turbo, ams intetcooler, ams heat exchanger, ams stage 2 hpfp and di injectors, z1 aux pump, full 3" downpipe, 3" mbrp exhaust, flex fuel at 69%. Car is tune to 22psi and made approx 650whp.

1.) Throttle response seemed better with the billet intake manifold.
2.) Spool up seems slightly better as you can see in the green line for billet vs. Red (oem intake)
3.) Overall hp after 4500rpm is slightly lower(maybe humidity related?) But it seemed to hold longer than red above 7000rpm?
4.) Kinda hard to believed but I did see 2C degrees cooler intake air temp with the billet intake compared to oem.

Overall, the difference is minimal but it's possible that I have not hit the impedance of the oem intake manifold at this level. Further testing at higher boost will tell if this intake manifold is beneficial. Good thing is that we didn't loose any hp which means that the factory design is very good to begin with.

Maybe I can find a built engine car to test this further.
