🔧 Another week, another engine! 🔧

Starting this week off with an engine replacement on yet another 2017 Ford Escape! 💪

No better way to kick off a Monday than diving straight into the big jobs. 😎🔧

That 2018 Dodge Durango we posted about recently for head gaskets decided it had a few more surprises waiting for us!

Once we got into the teardown, we found that the head gaskets weren’t the end of the story. It also needed a camshaft and rocker arms replaced—and judging by the pictures below, you can definitely see why. They should NOT look like that! 😳

The biggest setback was parts. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting a little over a week for everything to arrive. As soon as the delayed delivery finally showed up, we jumped right back into it, finished the repairs, and got this Durango back together and running right.

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to this customer for being so patient and understanding while we dealt with the unexpected repairs and parts delay. We truly appreciate customers like this!

The wait is finally over, the repairs are complete, and this Durango is good to go! 💪🔧

From brakes and tires to suspension work and a few other odds and ends, we had to get this 2018 BMW inspection sticker ready! 🔧🚗

That also included a new windshield, so we gave precision Auto Glass a call yesterday, and they had it installed and ready to go today! 💪🪟

Engine swap on this 2020 Ford Escape today! 🔧💥

Apparently, one of the piston rods decided it was done being held captive inside the block and wanted to see the outside world. 😂

No worries though—we’ll get this Escape fitted with a new heart and back on the road! 💪
