A Heartfelt Announcement from First Settlers Region

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that First Settlers Region announces the sudden passing of our beloved member, Jermaine Harris.

Jermaine was more than a member of our Porsche community—he was a valued friend, brother, and part of the First Settlers family. His presence, kindness, and contributions touched the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His sudden departure leaves a deep void that will be felt by all of us.

During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to Jermaine’s family, loved ones, friends, and everyone who is mourning this tremendous loss. We pray that they find strength, comfort, and peace in the memories they shared with him.

Jermaine may no longer walk among us, but the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain with us always.

Please keep Jermaine’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this heartbreaking time.

Rest peacefully, Jermaine Harris. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Our friends at Billsburg Brewery have invited First Settlers Region to "DAS AUTOS: German Auto Cruise-in" on Sunday, 27 September from 12p tp 3p as part of their Oktoberfest Celebration.

There is NO COST to attend this event. There will also be a few People's Choice Awards for the best cars!

What a day at Colonial Downs!

Today, the First Settlers Region, Porsche Club of America brought two very different kinds of horsepower together for a special FSR pop-up in New Kent, Virginia.

Our members had the incredible opportunity to display their Porsches right alongside the racetrack, enjoy live thoroughbred racing, and experience Colonial Downs during First Responder Day. 🇺🇸🏁

A huge THANK YOU to Bella and the entire Colonial Downs team for welcoming FSR and making this unique experience possible. From coordinating our early arrival to giving us an incredible location for the Porsche display, their hospitality was outstanding.

And, of course, thank you to all of our FSR members who came out today and helped turn a simple pop-up idea into an unforgettable experience.

Colonial Downs has offered us the opportunity to park our Porsches together on the apron for display. Members participating in the display will need to arrive before 11:30 AM. Final arrival and staging instructions will be provided to registered participants.

Bring the Porsche, bring the family, meet up with fellow enthusiasts and enjoy an afternoon of live horse racing, great cars, food and FSR camaraderie.
