I recently purchased my first Hyundai—a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid—from McGovern Automotive Group in Leominster, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.
Our salesman, Dan, was absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond from start to finish and truly made the entire buying process easy and stress-free. I’ve purchased vehicles from several dealerships over the years, and this was honestly the first time I’ve worked with a salesperson who knew absolutely everything about the vehicle. Every question I had was answered confidently and thoroughly, which gave me a lot of confidence in both Dan and Hyundai.
I was also very impressed with Hyundai’s features and overall value. The financing associate was equally great to work with—friendly, helpful, and never pushy. That’s incredibly rare in the car-buying world, and it made the experience feel like they genuinely wanted to help rather than just make a sale.
One thing that really stood out was how comfortable Dan made me feel during negotiations. I’ve had experiences at other dealerships where negotiating led to pressure, rude behavior, or managers getting frustrated. McGovern was the complete opposite. Everyone was respectful, professional, and willing to work with me to reach a fair agreement.
I specifically wanted a white Santa Fe Hybrid, and since they didn’t have one on the lot, Dan worked hard to locate one from another dealership. He kept me updated throughout the entire process, so I always knew what was happening and never felt left in the dark.
Pickup day made the experience even more memorable. Dan surprised me by placing a big pink bow on the hood of my new Santa Fe and took photos of me with my new vehicle. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made me feel special and made the excitement of buying a new car even greater. It’s the little things like that that turn a good experience into an unforgettable one.
The part that impressed me the most happened before I drove away. Dan spent about an hour sitting with me in my new vehicle, patiently walking me through every feature and function. No dealership has ever done that for me before, and it made a huge difference. I drove away actually knowing how to use all the technology instead of having to figure it out on my own.
I can’t recommend McGovern Automotive Group in Leominster enough. If you’re shopping for a Hyundai, do yourself a favor and ask for Dan. He’s knowledgeable, patient, honest, and genuinely cares about his customers. This was, without a doubt, the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had, and I’ll absolutely be recommending Dan and McGovern to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
