We are having a great time at Panguitch Quilt Walk! This is a huge community event and we have met lots of quilters from everywhere! They are also celebrating the 250th birthday of our country.

We love to chat about our charity thanks all for listening!

We are also happy to announce that Patches quilt shop in Panguitch is now one of our charity partners and is a quilt donation drop off center.

After the show we came on over to a Dutch Oven dinner and theater.

We met some cute beginner quilters too!
The event continues through Saturday if you are in the area.

Utah quilters! The annual Quilt Walk in Panguitch is next week... will you be there? We will! Please bring us a quilt or two that you might be willing to donate to someone in need! Any type, any size. We will be collecting quilts, and sharing about our charity. We will have a super fun booth so come see us. June 10-13, at Panguitch High School (Wed Noon-6pm, Thurs & Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-2pm). Panguitch is located near some of Utah's best scenery: Bryce Canyon and Zion Nat'l Park. And P.S.-- Do you know the history behind the Quilt Walk and why it's commemorated each year? This festival honors a brave group of settlers who, in 1864, used quilts to cross a dangerously snowy pass in search of flour for the starving people of Panguitch. So basically, QUILTS SAVE LIVES. (Yup. We knew that.)

Thanks to a “Saint” of a lady, a cash donation was made so we were able to buy 10 sewing machines (Thanks Nuttall’s for taking care of us) for our sewing workshop we are starting at the Other Side Village and Other Side Academy

What a great opportunity for our volunteers to share their talents and teach sewing and quilting to this wonderful community!

We are grateful for the partnerships we have with other non-profits, for-profits and kind people who support our mission to serve and bring comfort to the world through a handmade quilt.

Our first class in June 16 at 6:30-8 pm in SLC. If you would like to come assist or if you have any quilting fabric you’d like to donate DM us!

Over the past few months we have received beautiful quilt blocks for the project. Last week in SLC many quilters (and this little guy) stopped by our booth at and made a block. We have received 8,000 blocks, and over 6,500 of those have already been sewn into quilt tops and are in Ukraine!
Over 30 other countries are also working on the project.
The 2025 sunflower quilt art installation -to show our support for Ukraine— was cut short when Russian drones dropped bombs. They are planning another art installation later in 2026.

Thanks also to the who will be making our quilt tops into finished quilts.
We are honored to be the US collector of 12.5" × 12.5" quilt blocks. We will be collecting them through the end of 2026.

It was exciting to see our decal in the window at The Quilter’s Treasure Chest who are our newest charity partner and quilt donation drop off center.

We are honored to be a part of the Utah Gives Fundraising campaign tomorrow.

Wrap the World with Quilts is fueled by makers and givers and an all volunteer staff that makes, collects and distributes handmade quilts and blankets to those in need throughout the world.

And we also need money to keep it going… asking for money is not our favorite thing to do. But if you are able, please donate to the UtahGives.org statewide event for non-profits. You can designate money to go specifically to Wrap the World with Quilts as either a one-time donation or you can give monthly.

Anything helps and all monies are spent on our operations and shipping costs.

We have been busy distributing quilts to those in need —- almost 67,000! But we found some time to get creative and make these adorable sewer tool boxes. Thanks !

We will have them available at the Boise and Sandy festivals.
We will be in Boise, ID at the Expo on May 7, 8 and 9.

And then at their show in Sandy, Ut at the Mountain America Expo Center on May 14,15 and 16.

If you have a quilt to donate please bring it. We will have stickers, buttons and more!
