Hey folks, I’m Vince Hood—the father in this father-son mechanic shop. I’m 54 years old, happily married, and blessed with 3 grown sons and 5 beautiful grandbabies. I’m also a proud U.S. Army veteran with 21 years of service, where I worked as a mechanic and honed my skills on everything from Humvees to heavy equipment.

After decades of working on both gas and diesel engines, I’ve teamed up with my middle son Matthew to bring honest, dependable automotive service to our community. Hey everyone! My name’s Matthew Hood—I'm the son in our father-son mechanic team. I’m 30 years old, a proud husband, and a dad to two awesome boys. I’ve been turning wrenches for over 12 years, with the last 6 focused on diesel engines. I currently work full-time as a locomotive mechanic, so I’ve had my hands on everything from pickup trucks to trains.

My dad and I have a combined 30+ years of experience, and we’ve built our shop on honesty, hard work, and treating every vehicle like it’s our own. Whether it's a basic oil change or a major engine job, we’re here to help keep your ride running strong. We’re located in Leesville, La off Vernon Lake Rd.
