2007 Lexus IS250 • Becks Car Care Restored 👍
The Story 🗒
Monday Mornings Appointment was a task. My client recently pulled their 2007 Lexus IS250 out of retirement after sitting and ageing over the years. He told me " This is my first ever car I owned, its what I began practicing vinyl wrapping on, all the black marks on the vehicle are left over glue & adhesive ". He wasnt looking for a full exterior detail, but moreless the removal of 18 year old glue & adhesive as his vehicle was gonna be getting vinyl wrapped. After briefly listening to him and understanding the situatuon, the task at hand was a simple. I broke down each and every step of the process I will be providing to his vehicle for more of a clear understanding of what needs to be done. When our conversation was over the machines were on & this Lexus recieved the Becks Car Care Treatment.
Stage 1️⃣💨
I started air blowing all loose debris & leaves off of the surface of the paint. Once all debris was removed I proceeded on to the second stage.
Stage 2️⃣🧽
Since this vehicle is covered in old adhesive, it needs to be removed before any washing to prevent potential marring and harm to paint. Carefully Using a Strong solvent-based Bituman, Tar & Adhesive remover & applying the solvent to the paint, I was able to remove the left over adhesive, uncovering a new slate of paint to work on. Then come's stage 3!
Stage 3️⃣🧼
This Lexus recieved a Foam Prewash consisting of a highly concentrated, alkaline pre-cleaner used primarily to remove stubborn dirt like insects, bird droppings, and heavy road grime. This provides a powerful non-contact wash. After rinsing the vehicle off and removing any left over dirt & grime, a light handwashing was then applied.
Once the vehicle was handwashed, rinsed and dried, it was time to bring my client out to see something he hasn't seen in over 18 years. " CLEAN WHITE PAINT"! This vehicle is ready for a wrapping. My client was ecstatic and excited of the future of transforming his once old vehicle, to a Restored Wrapped Masterpiece.

The job was completed in over 2 hours bringing in satisfaction and joy to both myself and my client. That's what pushes Becks Car Care to its full potential, the smiles & joy clients get when they see their valuable investments properly taken care of.
