Chevy 5.3L Engine with (DOD) displacement on demand. Typically piston number seven has lifter failure where the spring will collapse, causing a misfire.
When this happens, lifters and cam will need to be replaced along with other services at the same time such as having the heads refreshed, maybe timing chain in gears. A lot of cleanup to make things right.

Only 2 broken bolts from an extra days work.
Update: got them out.

1999 Chevy Silverado with a NP246 transfer case.
This is what happens if
You don’t service your vehicle. The black spot in the ice cream bucket was the only oil that came out. Had to use a pipe wrench to get the fill and drain plugs out.
It is rebuildable with extra new parts.

2016 Chevy spark 1.4L. 228,000 miles. This engine looks like new on the inside.Proof changing the oil every 5000miles with full synthetic does the engine good.
This one had a leaking exhaust valve. So doing a valve job.

Congratulation's to Bowler's performance transmissions.
Mark and his team had an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new addition (shop).
I was amazed of what they have accomplished and how it grown into a National brand.

Cleaned up a throttle body and replaced the base gasket and idle air solenoid.

I never post on here
But, I do need to show my work I do.
Right now I have a AX-5 5speed manual transmission out of a 1990 jeep. It has the input shaft and cluster gear stripped out. So, it's getting a full rebuild.
