A Tri-Five Chevy is victorious for the 2nd year in a row!

The 2026 Ridler Memorial Award at the Detroit Autorama has been won by Rex Satterfield. This 1956 Chevy convertible is a stunning show-quality custom that captured the top honor at the 73rd edition of the show. The car was the result of a multi-year build that started eight years ago. It was finished by Riffey’s Hot Rods and builder Kevin Riffey and his crew in partnership with Satterfield.

Yesterday was opening day across the country for America's past time and at Dodger's stadium the World Series Trophy was delivered in style by Ice Cube in a Harbor Blue '57 Convertible!! It is always a wonderful nod to the popularity of the Tri-Five Chevys when they dominate on the show circuit. Two different Tri-Fives were honored to be a Great 8 at the Detroit Autorama this past weekend. The American Tri-Five Association would like to congratulate the team at Southern Comfort Customs and owners Tom and Christy Bresnahan for winning the coveted 2025 Ridler Award with their Gray Madder ‘55 Nomad!
