Nothing ground breaking or new but some info for who ever. The broken outdrive gear l**e reservoir fitting threw the transom assembly for the internal E Clip to install. I do not use that as it can be time consuming and pain to install that E clip. For many years been using the hairpin clips for a much easier and a whole lot less time consuming install. Also so much easier to remove. Next is the wood screw to remove the broken ni**le in the oil line for removing that. That saves the oil line to reuse it if in good shape instead of new oil line.
