Roof Care & Sealant Maintenance

The roof is one of the most critical parts of your RV's exterior. A poorly maintained roof can lead to leaks, water damage, and inevitable costly repairs. Regular roof inspections should be a top priority.
* Inspect the roof surface for cracks, punctures, or worn spots especially around vents, skylights, and antenna mounts.
* Clean the roof regularly to remove dirt, leaves, and debris that can cause damage over time.
* Check all seals and seams, including around roof accessories, and apply RV-specific roof sealant to any cracks or gaps you find.
* Use sealants designed for your roof type (rubber, fiberglass, or aluminum). Avoid generic silicone or household caulk which can degrade quickly.
Performing or scheduling roof inspections seasonally or after any severe weather can help you catch and prevent damage before it is too late.

🍁🦃Thanksgiving week is here, and we are so thankful for our customers!
Breakaway will be open until 3pm this Wednesday, so be sure to come by and get your propane bottles filled before we close! We will reopen Monday, December 1st at 8 am.

Hello happy campers! We’re posting today to show everyone the importance of Mud Dauber Screens!
We had a customer call our shop this morning because of a furnace that wouldn’t stay lit. Once we got the furnace back to our shop and inspected it, we found the issue! All of the black gunk you see on the ground is the result of bugs getting into the furnace, making nests and clogging the lines. This is a serious case and could’ve started a fire. Thank goodness they called us!
If you’re having issues with your furnace, or need screens, we can help! We have all kinds of screens available (the one pictured is $21.99 + tax)
We’re here for all your camper’s maintenance needs!
We also fill propane for $3.50 per gallon!
