Cole Valasek’s 69 Dodge Dart was back In the shop this past winter for some big upgrades for the 2026 season. Here’s a list of some of those upgrades.
- Switched over to a crank drive and F3-112 Procharger
- Changed fueling over to methanol and fuel injection, Fuel Tech 720lb/h injectors
- Hogan billet manifold with -12 fuel rails, Motion Raceworks Icon throttle body, JGS blow off valves.
- Upgraded fuel pump to a belt driven Aeromotive spur gear pump.
- Moved fuel cell up front, custom built cell and had hard coat anodized.
- Everything plumbed with Redhorse Performance hose and crimp fittings.
- Freshened and did some upgrades to engine.
- Got rid of the torqueflite 727 trans and upgraded to a 2-speed TH400 from RPM Transmissions along with a Circle-D 264mm bolt together converter.
- Motion Raceworks 2-speed electric shifter.
- Dynamic Drivlines carbon driveshaft.
- XS power 16v lithium battery.
- Changed up some misc wiring, added bulk head in firewall for engine harness and injector harness. Installed/wired Holley injector driver.
- Installed FireAde split 10lb fire system.
- Built custom burn down tank and moved to rear of car.
