🔧 POWERSPORTS MECHANIC / TECHNICIAN NEEDED 🏁
Southern Mudd Motorsports | Laurel, MS
We plan to fill this position by October, but we’re accepting resumes now so we can take our time finding the right person for our shop.
📍 Location: Laurel, MS
🕐 Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
💰 Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
🛠️ What We’re Looking For:
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Dependable, hardworking, and committed to quality work
• Previous Powersports Mechanic/Technician experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Comfortable working independently from diagnosis through completion
• Owns basic mechanic tools, a toolbox, and some specialty tools
• Valid driver’s license
🔧 Responsibilities Include:
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues
• Complete routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, inspections, and scheduled services
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components
• Install aftermarket accessories, performance upgrades, snorkel kits, audio systems, and more
• Use service manuals and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and repair problems
• Test ride machines when needed to confirm repairs and ensure proper operation
• Document completed work and clearly communicate repair recommendations and service needs
