Cam housing off, timing chain and guide ramp out, then every fastener down both banks comes out by hand so the valve gear can actually be inspected before the heads come off. Connector replacement, done from underneath with the car on the lift. The access is behind the front wheel, past the undertray, and once your hands are up in there most of it is by feel. Small part, awkward spot. The only way to do it properly is to take the time to get to it instead of forcing it from the wrong angle.

New oil pump housing going in. The old one came off from underneath the car, and the replacement came straight out of the Porsche box instead of whatever was cheapest to source. That call matters on a part responsible for keeping oil moving through the engine. Details like this are the difference between a repair that holds and one you see again next year.
