There was only one Jr. 160 this weekend, so Wesley got thrown in with the Lite 160 class — and if you know quarter midgets , you know that’s no joke. Wes is still running a restricted plate while the Lite 160s are unrestricted, and he STILL went out there and absolutely killed it. He even beat the entire field and came out first in one of the heats 🔥

The Lite 160s also run 40-lap mains, while Wes is only used to running 30 laps. He was absolutely killing it during the main and holding his own against the bigger class, but toward the end his car started biking (going up on two wheels) and it made him nervous. He ended up spinning out and sent himself all the way to the back of the pack. Even after that, he fought hard and managed to gain back 2 positions, finishing “3rd” in the main.



The grit and determination this kid has is unreal. Most kids would’ve folded after going to the back, but not Wes. So proud of how hard he drove all weekend 🏁💪🔥
