Is that a Supra??? Why yes, yes it is! It's a 1979 Toyota Celica Supra and this example would be a great candidate for someone wanting to restore an A40 Supra and bring it back to life.

The very first Supra started out as an extension of the Celica(5.10 inches longer, hence the double name) in 1978 but was aimed towards the luxury market. It was powered by 2.0L inline-six engine with the choice of a 5-speed manual or 4-speed auto. It's a Ferrari in red... what can get better than that? Well, what if we told you this has 39,102 miles and has the very first iteration of Ferrari's F1 transmission for road cars?

First used in the F1-89, the Formula One race car running in 1989, it was created by John Barnard and pioneered the semi-automatic paddle shifting transmission in motorsport. This transmission is basically a standard manual gearbox connected to a high-pressure F1 pump and Transmission Control Unit to actuate the clutch and change gears when the driver shifts the paddle. And the very first road car to receive this transmission was the Ferrari 355.
