There’s no shortage of Big Brake Kits for the FK8, FL5, and DE5, but they usually come with two compromises: cost and/or wheel clearance.
We’ve always wanted to see a staggered 6-piston caliper upgrade that retains the factory rotor, which is already generously sized.
27WON Honda Performance saw the same gap in the market and developed exactly that. Huge thanks to them for sending us one of the first production kits to test on the unityctr, ahead of the official release. Pricing TBD but it’ll very well priced!
This weekend we’re going to push the factory Brembo setup to its limits to establish a proper baseline. Early next week we’ll install the 27WON kit, walk through the installation, compare pedal feel, braking performance, modulation, and heat management, then share our full impressions.

The hype is real! We’ve heard so many good things about the 11th Gen Si Exhaust, so when we received our first local order for one, we knew we wanted to install it and experience it for ourselves!
Packaging, build quality, ease of install, and of course the aesthetics and sound all exceeded expectations. Well done Thermal R&D 👏

We enjoyed “stock” power levels on the for some time, and are finishing off this phase with a baseline dyno at trusted Dynojet. Only mode: MXP Exhaust, TSP Intake Coupler.
