🏎️ DID YOU KNOW? Hot Wheels Edition
In 1969, Hot Wheels introduced the Beach Bomb, a miniature Volkswagen bus with surfboards sticking out the back.
The original prototype was too narrow and top-heavy to work properly on Hot Wheels tracks, so the design was changed before mass production.
💰 Today, an extremely rare pink, rear-loading Beach Bomb prototype is considered one of the most valuable Hot Wheels cars ever made, with reported valuations around $150,000!
