about us: Jim and Chris Eggers
Jim and Chris Eggers. aka Jim’s Custom Muffler....has always been about Complete Automotive Care, now its in our name! We have been a family owned business in Lancaster for nearly 50 years. Jim started out on ‘the hill’ in the Skelly gas station in the early 70’s. Several years later, Skelly became Texaco. After a few years we took over the restaurant portion and remodeled it to open the Texaco Food Mart convenience store/truck stop in conjunction with the Jim’s Custom Muffler car repair/muffler shop portion of the business. In 1987 we moved to the current location.... From day one Jim serviced and repaired all makes and models of vehicles. Sold and repaired tires. Repaired and replaced exhaust systems and much more. In 2000 Chris added wheel alignments to the list of services and expanded computer diagnostic work. As we move towards 50 years in business, both Jim and Chris are at the shop 8-5 M-F and look forward to providing you a one-stop shop for your COMPLETE AUTOMOTIVE CARE!
