We have been diligently getting everything built up and settled in at our new location. Originally thought to be a temporary move, the space is starting to grow on us. We have also gotten positive feedback from our friends & customers, who have been able to sneak a peak... π«£
Of course, no bike shop makes plans to relocate at the beginning of riding season, and we are no different; Just as nobody plans to attempt a new trick for the first time in front of 56,000 people.
But then there are those times...
Those times when you don't pay attention to how clean your bike is or isn't riding...
You don't pay attention to the wind.
You don't hear the voice of doubt...evil.
The only thing you can hear and feel is the chant of encouragement from those 56,000...
The air is electrified...
*Amped.* Grab that bull, tightly by the handlebars...
With a smile only you can feel inside, you hurl yourself into the action with one hard press of the pedal....
Accelerating, u can start to feel the wind pick up and rush past you...
Your massive thighs are the engine, and even resemble the motion of pistons cycling....
Suck. Squeeze. BANG!! Blow ...
A few powerful rotations and desired speed is reached.
Set...
You're focused ahead- toward the launch and being instinctively precise with every movement as it contributes to the ending outcome...
As you hit the end of the property line of the perfectly sculpted, hand-made, catapulting artwork,....
Absorb [the transition]....(Suck)
Compress....(Squeeze)
EXPLODE UPWARD!! (BANG!!)
{F. U. L. L........ S..E..N..D........}
Stick. Land. Exhale exhilarated breath... (Blow)
Your body does what you have trained it to do naturally., with confidence and lightning precision...
Time slows to a crawl, maximizing your experience, and perfecting the stunning visual effect.
Your tires connect the landing, stick, and continue to roll...
[Crowd goes wild, screaming]
This "self-satisfaction" instantly becomes a shared sense of excitement among everyone present and those watching at home...riders, spectators and supporters who paused to witness this moment in history...
"We did it!!!!"
And we all share in the excitement....
This most valuable and important life lesson is the title of my newest book:

*Pop*; {daydream over.} Back to reality, and this message from United Cycle Worx, LLC :
-------------------------------------------------------
As we find our selves stabilizing, about to reach the top of the water,we want to thank you, and assure you that your belief in us doesn't go unappreciated, and eventually it always gets reciprocated.
"It takes a village..." The natives would say regarding what it takes to raise a child, noting that even a child with both parents can learn more from an entire village.
:To all of the riders, young, adult and well- aged, ('cause riders don't get "old")
: their families and friends that encourage and motivate them
:the partners that have made all of this possible by investing their resources of time, effort and money because they believed in something intangible and saw the vision (if not shared in it together) filled with passion and burning desire
: the haters, "nay-sayers," and "show-stoppers," (That's right- even yall....) because they give us a complete sense of who we are, by looking at who they're NOT, and how they REact...
("Everyone wants to knock off the top dog- get used to it Kid.")
And everyone else. From those who have only heard of our name, to those who have played a vital role in our success and contributed to the Joy of our daily lives.
But this post has an honorable (or dishonourable) mention:
Those few jealous haters who tried to either copy us, rob us, or keep us from success, for whatever their reason....
THANK YOU FOR THE LOYAL SUPPORT!!!
WE COULDN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!! ALL OF YOU!!
This is what inspired our motto:
----"WITHOUT U & I, THERE IS NO UNITED."-----
Looking forward to seeing everyone at our new, and current location:

(And just like usual, being the first to do something, warrants an interview to explain what may not be so obvious:
It's Behind Don's Furniture, in the alley) π
