Our Story

After working as an aircraft pilot and mechanic for over thirty years, I wanted to do something different. I enjoyed the challenges of auto repair, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and I had some good experience with computers. Because my wife and daughter were robbed almost every time they sought auto repair service, I decided to see if I could make a living doing honest and fair auto repair.

So, I began to study automotive textbooks and attained my ASE certifications. Lakewood L**e and Repair became an AC Delco Professional Service Center. We then earned an A+ rating as a member of the Better Business Bureau (and then later, A+ on Angie’s List, too). After fourteen years now, I can state that yes, you can make a living doing honest and fair auto repair.
