History

Established in 1997. Indoor karting was first introduced in England in the early 1990's. Grand Prix Raceway opened in 1997 in Fife, WA. It was a very new business concept that took off right away with big crowds for months. Indoor karting began to grow around the U.S. and the world. In 1997 there were 4 centers in the country and about 30 world-wide. Now there are more than 50 in the country and more than 300 world-wide. To all of our fantastic customers, you may or may not have heard yet, but the entire property that we call home was sold a year ago and will soon be re-developed. We have searched for a new location for the past year to no avail. We regret that we will be closing the day after Mother’s Day which is May 14th. We appreciate all of you and have had a great 26 year run! We have had so many great memories, and provided so many too. We will truly miss entertaining you and sharing your friendship. You are truly greatly appreciated and will be missed.
If you do have any free races to use from memberships, or coupons like Groupon and Fetch Rev? HOWND which were purchased off our website, please use them ASAP.
We will be liquidating office furniture, glass retail display cases, 10 tables w/ 4chairs each, karts, barrier system, AMB Timing system , The 15 ft Indy car graphic, etc. Everything is offer based, cash sales. You can see these items on our website, click this link to go directly to the page:

Grand Prix Raceway is looking for some customer service savvy track workers to start immediately!

We have two Full time and Part time openings for customer service for our karting services and Axe Throwing lanes!

Duties include providing customers with assistance, safety briefing, running the 20 lap sessions, monitoring the customers on track to abide by all rules and providing world class customer service!

Duties also include maintaining the Axe Throwing lanes & equipment and assisting customers.
