Today, we honored Detective Kimberly Cribbin during a Celebration of Life Ceremony at Life Center Church in Tacoma. Detective Cribbin passed away March 24, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. She was 49-years-old. Detective Cribbin began her career at the Tacoma Police Department in 1998 as a Police Patrol Officer. She later served as a Community Liaison Officer in sectors three and four from 2004 to 2006, when she was promoted to Detective. She worked in the Investigations Bureau, Criminal Investigations Division, Property Section from 2006 to 2013. She then transferred to Major Crimes, Career Crimes, where she became the department’s Video Forensics Detective. Kim will always be remembered for her feisty spirit and infectious laugh. She will be greatly missed.
