We live in the woods outside of Lakeside Montana. A few years ago our home was threatened by a forest fire. In the process of evacuating the first thing we loaded were our family photos and albums. Thankfully no homes were damaged by that fire and we were able to return home in a few days. While returning our photos to their "safe storage", we started to look through them again. In doing so we rea
lized how many priceless treasures are kept hidden away to look at "some day" or how sad it would have been to have lost them permanently. So we started the task of digitizing (scanning) our photos with a regular flatbed scanner. In the beginning it started out fun, but after scanning about five hundred with a couple thousand to go we realized how tedious it can become. After upgrading our equipment the task became much more enjoyable. Since then we have scanned several thousand photos for family and friends. During this time it was suggested that we offer this service to others. We hold true to small town old fashion values.
