We have ignition!! Our power is back on at the shop, but please give us a little time to get re-organized. We are currently charging everything we need for our house because we still don’t have power there. We will be getting back to normal soon. I know this because the three calls I’ve gotten today here at work are all robo calls lol I hope you’re all doing well. Stay safe and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused anyone.

Well, we’re trying to stay as happy as our favorite 1st born granddaughter looks in this picture from many years ago. We still do not have power at the shop or our home. We make the trek to the shop multiple times a day. I’m not quite sure why, but it makes “the Professor” feel a little bit better. He feels terrible with the idea that he is letting his clients down. Hang in there, we will get back to your projects as soon as Nipsco-ly possible. I hope you’re all safe and doing well.

Well as some of you have probably guessed, we are closed until further notice lol or at least until we get power. We were very fortunate that there was no damage to the shop. Hoping everyone is doing well. Stay strong!!

Please share the word. "The Professor" has decided that he will "at least for a while" be closed on Fridays. The back of the shop is not air conditioned and after almost 39 years of putting up with the heat he has said, "enough is enough!" He will, by appointment meet with clients on Fridays for drop-off and pick-up. Thanks for your continued support.

I just realized I forgot to post this video from TikTok that was taken on July 3 at the shop as we were waiting for the Fourth of July parade to start here in Lake Station. As we approach the much-awaited 4th of July holiday weekend, we wanted to remind everyone that we will be closed on Friday, July 3rd to enjoy the Lake Station parade and celebrate Independence Day.

The Professor and I will be taking this time to recharge and enjoy some quality time with family and friends.

The shop will be open normal business hours on Monday, July 6th.

We wish you a safe and joyful celebration filled with laughter, good food, and cherished moments.
