Anchoring a boat is one of those tasks that can be scary at first. Learning how to ACTUALLY get a boat anchor to hold the boat and how much anchor line we are supposed to have out can be confusing (it’s a lot more than you’d think!) So I put together a video explaining and demonstrating some of the basics of anchoring and how we can safely anchor our boat in calm waters for a day of fishing or spending time on our boats. Are you using this wrong? The bow eye on a boat should be below the bow roller on the trailer with the strap running under the bow roller.
