It was 80 degrees in Greenville, SC today. WOW! Is RV season upon us?

If you stepped outside this afternoon, you probably felt it — that little nudge that says it’s time to get back on the road.

It's days like today when you walk past your camper and think, “We need to go somewhere.”

Before you hitch up or turn the key, here are a few smart steps to get ready:

1. If you winterized, keep an eye on the forecast. We all know how March and April can tease us with 80 degrees one week and surprise us with a late frost the next. If you de-winterize too early, just be prepared to protect those plumbing lines again if temps dip.

2. Start making your reservations now. Campground demand remains strong, and the best full-hookup and pull-through sites fill quickly in the spring. Planning ahead means fewer compromises and more relaxing weekends.

3. Do a systems check before your first trip. Test your water heater, appliances, A/C, slide-outs, seals, batteries, and tires. Small issues caught in your driveway are much better than big issues at a campground.

4. And most importantly — get excited!!!

We hit pause this week and headed south to the Tampa RV Supershow...and wow, was it worth it!

We walked through dozens (and dozens!) of RVs...from teardrop towables to off-road earth roamers, and even a jaw-dropping 47-foot fifth wheel! It was especially exciting to see several new boutique RV manufacturers stepping onto the scene with fresh designs and creative layouts.

Even better? Reconnecting with so many friends from our full-time travel days and industry adventures. There’s something special about being surrounded by people who truly get the lifestyle.

We're taking the slow road home, soaking in some more RV magic along the way. We'll be back soon, ready to serve our customers with fresh insight and renewed energy.
