🐾 Looking for a New Best Friend? 🐾

This Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Western Arizona Humane Society will be at Petsmart in Lake Havasu City with some very special furry friends looking for their forever homes.

Come meet these loving dogs and puppies, spend some time with them, and maybe even find your newest family member. Every adoption gives a homeless animal a second chance at a happy life.

If you currently have a dog at home, a meet-and-greet is required before the adoption can be approved to help ensure a good match for everyone.

☀️ Summer is here, and our shelter is full! 🐾

Attention Western Arizona Humane Society supporters: We need your help! With the summer season upon us, we are taking in a large number of adult dogs, along with new litters of puppies and kittens (who are currently growing strong behind the scenes and aren't quite ready for adoption yet!).

To keep all these hungry bellies full and help our pups beat the Havasu heat, we are urgently running low on a few specific supplies.

Here is our current Summer Wishlist:

For the Dogs: Pedigree Puppy (dry), Pedigree Adult (canned), and plenty of dog treats!

For the Cats: Kitten Chow (dry) and kitten canned food.

For the Heat: Hard plastic kiddie pools! (Our doggies have a pool party every morning to stay cool, and we need more pools to keep the fun going!) 💦🐾

Donations can be dropped off directly at the shelter during our regular hours. Thank you so much for always supporting our homeless animals—we couldn't do it without our amazing community! ❤️🐶🐱
