Yes ther is such a thing as To Much gel coat. Not to mention it wasn't prepared correctly. Resin base is still shiny.

Super clean 29 Hallett. Exhaust was moved up 6 inches or so. Old repairs are cracking out. Old repair is pilied up. Just one air bubble under the repair will always come to the surface. Only the correct materials and a lifetime of experience should be used below the waterline. Check back for progress and finished photos.

Gel coat repair from a little trailer rash. Probably 4 repairs done before i got it. Dropped it off in the morning, delivered it in the afternoon.

Deck is put back together after some fresh glass layups were rained on. Before anyone comments about getting rained on, i live in the frigging desert. They weren't even calling for rain. Just like the other 361 days of the year. 4 days of rain a year is a lie. It's more like 2 or 3.
Still Some fairing to do. I was able to convince the owners to eliminate a large area of carpet. They agreed if i would spray this new product. New to me. It's called soft sand. It's an additive used much like traditional nonskid like griptex. Update coming on the results of ther nonskid. I don't usually get excited about a new product till i have used it and the boat owner has put some time into it. But im excited to see the end result. Updates and info in the additive coming tomorrow!

Repairs to the top deck of this 85foot houseboat. Caused no doubt from the hot tub and carpeted decks. And lack of maintenance.
