We see a lot questions about the drop axle on the . Some people prefer it back with the tandems like a dump truck and some want it up at the cab. The location just distributes weight differently. Although this particular truck on the deck isn’t heavy enough to require it be down, you won’t see it down in photos. When ordered up at the cab, it is steerable so it goes up automatically when the truck is put into park and reverse. When the driver jumps out to take a photo, it will always be up.
