🚨 An Oil Change Isn't a Vehicle Inspection.

There's a difference between getting your oil changed and having your vehicle properly looked over by a repair shop.

This vehicle is a perfect example.

The oil change itself may have been completed, but a loose/worn ball joint wasn't caught. Eventually, that ball joint came apart, and when it did, it caused damage to additional components and left the customer with a much bigger repair bill AND a tow bill.

And there's an even bigger concern: a failed ball joint can result in loss of steering control and a wheel no longer being properly secured to the vehicle. That's not something you want to discover while you're driving down the road.

🛢️ Quick l**e? They're changing your oil.
🔍 A full-service repair shop? We're looking at the vehicle as a whole.

At GLP Automotive, our inspections are designed to help identify problems before they turn into breakdowns, safety concerns, and expensive secondary damage.

🛢Not All Engine Oil Is Created Equal.

European vehicles can be picky about their oil - and for good reason.

Your BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volvo, Volkswagen, Porsche, etc. may require a specific oil weight AND manufacturer specification.

That means grabbing a generic “full synthetic” off the shelf and assuming it works for everything? ❌ Not necessarily.

The right oil is about more than just 5W-30 vs. 0W-20.
