Greetings Everyone,

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS SATURDAY, SUNDAY, & MONDAY TO HELP WITH CLEANING UP THE GOLF COURSE!!!

Once again, we are forced by Mother Nature to ask for volunteers to help us clean up the golf course. Just like on Monday of this week, the course was hit by the Thursday night weather and there is loose debris all over. We need as many people as we can get to help pick up branches. We are not asking for heavy work (there are some big trees down), but as many folks as possible to pick up and pile the small branches.

If you are an employee of Jay & Lionel Hebert Golf Course and scheduled to work, please come in to work. If you are a member of an organization that calls this course "home", now is the time to step up and help "your course" recover for play. If you have a chainsaw and safety equipment, you are welcome to bring it and "help us turn big branches into little branches”!

Please join us in cleaning up for the next three days:
• Saturday, May 18th
• Sunday, May 19th
• Monday, May 20th
Times: 8am to 12pm or 12pm to 6pm.

We will be picking up fallen limbs and branches. Please help us restore this beautiful course for everyone to enjoy.

Anyone can volunteer — individuals, junior golfers, students, seniors, ladies, adults, community organizations, church groups, nonprofits, businesses, and more.

Happy Mother's Day to all of your wonderful mothers. For some of you, this is a difficult day because your mother may not be here, but please cherish her memories. For those of us who have our mothers, please make this day the best day of the rest of your life. Don't minimize the fact that she birth you. God knew what he was doing when he placed, you in her room. God makes no mistakes, no matter how your relationship was in the past that is still your mother. God promised us that we would honor our mother and our father our days will be extended. I believe that from the bottom of my heart, and I see it in the lives of so many.
