Hey guys, we really appreciate all the support on the break-in. What we don't support or appreciate is the several several comments being racist and negative. We got another shop truck… 👀

Meet our 2014 Chevy Silverado Single Cab. This one is getting the works, and we’re going to document the build from start to finish.

First up, we handled the tint and interior.

For the windows, we went with our best-performing IR+ Ceramic:
• 15% on the front doors
• 70% over the factory-tinted back glass, bringing it down to around 15% to match
• 50% across the windshield
• 2% windshield brow

Then we completely changed up the inside with a custom Katzkin leather interior. Tangerine Orange leather, Raven suede wings, DuoHex TekFusion inserts, and a few other details that really set this one apart. 🍊

And we’re nowhere near finished.

We’ve got plenty more planned for this truck, and we’ll be showing each part of the build as it comes together.

A lot of time behind the wheel means a lot of time fighting the Louisiana heat. ☀️

This Tesla Model Y came in because the owner does a ton of driving and wanted as much heat rejection as possible without just making the glass darker.

We installed our highest-performing IR+ ceramic film on the front doors and windshield, two of the biggest areas where you feel the sun while driving.

That means less heat beating through the glass, 99% UV protection, reduced glare, and a much more comfortable drive day after day.

When you spend hours in your vehicle every week, good tint is something you appreciate every single mile.

Parents: those dark back windows on your SUV aren’t doing as much as you might think. ☀️

This Ford Expedition came from the factory with dark privacy glass in the rear, but privacy glass is primarily there for exactly that: privacy.

If your kids spend most of their time in the second and third rows, adding ceramic film over that factory glass can help reduce the solar heat coming through while also adding UV protection.

For this Expedition, we installed QDP Ceramic on all the windows along with a windshield strip, giving the whole family more protection and a more comfortable cabin.

Dark glass and heat-rejecting ceramic film are two different things. If you’re not sure what your SUV came with, come by and we’ll help you figure out the right setup.

Ceramic tint doesn’t have to be the most expensive option to make a noticeable difference.

The owner of this BMW X2 told us one of their biggest complaints was how hot they constantly felt inside the car, so we pointed them toward our QDP Ceramic.

We tinted every window, including the windshield, giving them much better heat rejection throughout the entire cabin.

QDP Ceramic is one of our favorite films to recommend because of the performance you get for the price. If heat is your main concern but you don’t necessarily need to jump all the way to IR+, this is usually where the conversation starts.

Grey cloth out. Black leather in. 👌

This Ford Bronco came to us for a full Katzkin transformation, replacing the factory grey cloth with a much cleaner black leather interior.

And these aren’t seat covers being slipped over the factory cloth. The original upholstery comes off and the Katzkin leather is installed directly onto the seats for a fit and finish that looks like it belongs there from the factory.

If you bought the right vehicle but wish you would’ve checked the leather interior box, we can fix that.

Sometimes you don’t need to tint the whole truck to make a big difference. 👌

This Ford Raptor came in for ceramic tint on the two front doors and the entire windshield.

The fronts give the truck a cleaner, more finished look while the ceramic windshield helps cut down on the heat and glare coming straight through the largest piece of glass in the cab.

Clean, simple, and one of our favorite setups for a daily-driven truck.

When you spend your days driving through brush on a Texas ranch, going darker isn’t always better.

This Kawasaki Ridge came to us with a pretty specific goal: keep the cabin cooler without sacrificing the visibility they need while constantly driving around the ranch.

We went with 70% IR+ Ceramic on the windshield with a brow and 33% IR+ on the front doors.

The lighter shades keep visibility a priority, while IR+ gives them our highest level of heat rejection where it matters. A good example of why we always ask how you actually use your vehicle before recommending a film or shade.
