๐ง 2010 Ford F-250 โ Bed Rail Replacement & Frame Restoration
Another Built Not Bought project in the books!
This 2010 Ford F-250 came in with a very common issue on these trucks โ severe rust underneath the bed. The bed support rails/crossmembers had deteriorated badly, with rust eating away at the supports that keep the bed floor and sides properly supported. Once those supports start going, the bed can sag, flex, and lose its structural integrity.
We stripped the bed down, removed the rusted and deteriorated supports, repaired the affected areas, and installed new structural support rails. We also took the opportunity to clean up the frame, remove loose rust and scale, and apply protective undercoating to help keep the corrosion from coming back.
From rusty and falling apart โก๏ธ to clean, solid, protected, and ready to go back to work! ๐ช
This is exactly why it's important to address rust before it gets this far. What may look like a little surface rust can turn into major structural deterioration underneath the bed.
Another truck saved and another job done right!
