The 440-6 Challenger RT convertible made it back on it's own wheels and with the complete drivetrain installed today!
Next we will be getting the dash installed and the convertible top mechanism assembled.

I am helping a friend sell this car. We recently did quite a bit of work to it to bring it up to current standards. It is a factory 1970 Challenger RT, 440 6 pack convertible. One of 38 440-6 pack automatic convertibles built. FE5 Red with red interior. New white convertible top, white longitudinal stripe.
This car is extremely clean top and bottom. You can count just about every spot weld in the floors and frame rails. The bottom of the car is painted red.
It runs and drives very well. Starts very easily and idles great.
It has a dana 60 rear axle. 15 x7 rally wheels with Polyglas GT tires. Deluxe seat belts that have been restored. A new ECS exhaust. All trim has been polished. Paint has little to no defects.
It was restored about 25 years ago but has been well maintained and it shows.
We have a 60 page Dave Wise elite report completed in July 2026 that I can forward to interested buyers.
It is not the original engine or transmission.

Today we took delivery of this 1969 dodge Daytona raced in nascar in 1970 at Talladega, Daytona and other tracks by Dave Marcis. Over the years it has seen a few paint schemes and we will be taking it back to its as raced in 1970 blue and yellow #30 . This one will be unveiled at the mcacn show in November in Rosemont, IL. Follow along over the next few months as it transforms.

We are just over 3 months from MCACN 2026 in Rosemont,IL. Here is a preview of some of the cars we are preparing for this years show. We will have a little more diversity this year.
The list includes a 70 440-6 Pack,4 speed Challenger RT convertible, 1969 Daytona 440 Automatic, a 1970 Boss 302, and a 1969 Chevelle convertible custom.
There are a few more we are also working on for the show and we will show those a little later.

First drive in 40 years. We had it running shortly after it got here but now it stops and starts on its own again.

I had to take these pictures this week because it was so rare to have 2 cars so similar here at the same time.
The convertible is a 440, 4bbl automatic. Power windows, ac, 8 track, cruise, luggage rack.
The hardtop is a 383, 4 speed. Power windows, ac, 8 track.
Obviously both are original plum crazy, white top, white interior, white longitudinal stripe.
We restored the hardtop a few years ago. The convertible was recently purchased and here to fine tune a few items.
