💜 Central Oregon Toy Drive for Silver Rail Elementary 💜

Following the heartbreaking tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary, Exclusive Imports Auto Repair and Jessica Anderson State Farm are coming together to organize and promote a community-wide therapeutic toy drive, and we’re looking for other local businesses throughout Bend, Sunriver, and La Pine to partner with us!

We want this to be something that all of our local businesses can come together and be part of. This is all about our communities working together to do something meaningful for the children and families impacted.

Our goal is to collect therapeutic and sensory toys that can help bring a little comfort to children dealing with stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions.

Some of the items we’re hoping to collect include:

💜 Squishy toys and stress balls
💜 Fidget toys and Pop-its
💜 New stuffed animals
💜 Coloring books, crayons, and art supplies
💜 Other sensory and comfort items
💜 Additional age appropriate therapeutic toys

We ask that all donated items be new and unused.

We’re looking for local businesses that would like to partner with us! Whether that’s serving as a donation drop-off location, helping promote the drive, collecting toys, or contributing in another way, we would love to have you involved.

We are hoping to deliver these to a Silver Rails representative by next Friday October 23rd, but we wanted to get started bringing our local businesses together immediately so we can give each child a comfort toy.

If your business would like to be part of this or a drop off location, please comment below or send us a message!

Our communities have been through something heartbreaking, and while we can’t change what happened, we can come together to show these children and families how much they are loved and supported.

Let’s make this a community effort that we can all be proud to be part of. 💜

Our hearts are heavy today as our community faces an unimaginable tragedy following the events at Silver Rail Elementary School.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the students, families, school staff, and everyone impacted by today’s heartbreaking events.

As a small, family owned business, this community means so much to us. We are more than just neighbors and customers. We are families, friends, and a community that comes together when it matters most.

There are no words that can take away the pain, but we hope those affected know they are not alone.

Please hold your loved ones a little closer tonight, look out for one another, and remember that even in the darkest moments, our community is stronger when we stand together!

When you drive through a swarm of bugs, your windshield isn’t the only thing taking a hit—your radiator grille is acting like a giant net! Your radiator relies on a steady stream of fresh air flowing through to keep your engine from overheating in the summer. If your grille and radiator get completely caked in bugs, dirt, etc., it can act like a blanket, causing your engine temperatures to climb.

The Fix: Next time you're washing the car, use a hose to give your front grille a thorough spray from the inside out to clear debris.

If your temperature gauge has been creeping up lately, swing by the shop and we’ll check your cooling system airflow!
