Our latest addition to the Goss Motors Sales Team: Greg Blackman Jr.
Greg was raised in La Grande, and has been back in Eastern OR for over 30 years!
He started working for Goss in July after working in the insurance business for over 13 years.
Like before, we asked a few fun questions for his bio:
First car ever owned: 1976 Chevy short box pickup. Favorite car ever owned: GMC Denali HD pickup. Favorite Car on the Goss lot: GMC Sierra AT4 HD. Favorite vehicle color: Metallic Red Tintcoat.

Greg has been involved in his community as assistant pitching coach for La Grande High School, including the 2017 State Champions, and also volunteers for the LG Sunrise Rotary. He worked 15 in his family’s business as a land surveyor.

His favorite part about living in LG/Eastern Oregon: being close to the outdoors, lakes and mountains and living in a small community!

He has lived in La Grande since 2002 and worked at Goss since last November 2025!

Anthony is dedicated and community minded. He has volunteered as a firefighter for 23 years for La Grande Rural Fire Department. His professional skills include a background with other small businesses in town working as a marketing expert.

Favorite part about living in LG: it’s a small community and a great place to raise kids:).

We're hiring!
The Goss Motors Body Shop is looking for a Full-Time Automotive Paint Prep Technician. This position is to assist the head painter.

Come join our Reputable Body Shop and Company, located in a family-friendly, La Grande, Oregon, located in one of the most beautiful places on earth!

Unforgettable customer Service is our mission! Candidate must be a Team Player and work well with others. Integrity, Honesty, Dependability, efficiency, reliability, and punctuality is a must.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing all assigned vehicles for the refinishing and reassembly process and support Paint Technicians in paint jobs as required.
Complete all paint preparation processes for vehicle according to factory specification including the direction of the mentoring Paint Technician and by following the written repair order.
Assist Paint Technician by preparing spray-out panels to determine blend needs and assist in sanding and buffing to ensure the paint finish meets quality standards.
Adhere to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal.
Follow vendor procedures to maintain all tools and equipment, including maintenance of paint booth and booth filters and maintains a clean and organized workspace.
Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc. to complete quality work.
Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Clean and prep vehicle prior to customer delivery.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver's License Required
Strong organizational skills
Successful completion of driving record background check required
