Who you trust to repair your vehicle matters. 🚨

This is what irritates me the most I think is when someone brings us a vehicle that wasn’t repaired correctly! 😡 We have no idea who did the repairs but it’s a new 2026 vehicle! Like 2,000 miles!

It came into our shop after having previous repairs completed elsewhere. Unfortunately, once we got into it to figure out the issue our customer was having, we found repairs that simply weren’t done the way they should have been.

The blind spot sensor had been glued and screwed into place, and a broken bumper mounting bracket was left broken instead of being replaced. Reminder this is a new vehicle with not many miles on it!!! 😳

Cosmetic details matter to us just as much but not every repair is just cosmetic. Sensors and their mounting locations are part of the vehicle’s safety and driver-assistance systems, and proper positioning and secure mounting matter.

We’re not sharing this to bash another repair facility. We have no idea who did it. We’re sharing it because you deserve to know what’s behind your bumper when you pay to have your vehicle repaired.

We believe in doing the job correctly—even in the places you may never see. Quality repairs, proper procedures, and your safety will always matter more than taking shortcuts & saving money!!!! We will spend our own money if we have to in order for a quality repair! We value integrity & honesty for any repair!

Your vehicle & your safety matter more to us & are worth it fixing correctly!!!

✅ You can tell your insurance company exactly where you want your vehicle repaired.

BACK TO SCHOOL!

We will be closed today for the celebration of life for Uncle Ron!! We will be open tomorrow at normal business hours!!

Ronald James Vicars, 82, of McAlester, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at his home in McAlester. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Sunday, August 9, from 100 to 300 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 10, at 1000

Be weather aware this afternoon friends!!! & Keep the town of Kiowa in your prayers as they had devastating damages last night! 🙏🏼🫶

‼️ MODERATE RISK (LEVEL 4 OF 5) SEVERE WEATHER THREAT TODAY for Giant Hail 🧊 3”+ possible, Damaging Winds 💨 65-70+ MPH, and Tornadoes 🌪️ (Some Strong EF2)

Severe storms are expected this afternoon into tonight across the southern Plains into the ArkLaTex, with a dangerous setup for multiple severe hazards.

➡️ PRIMARY THREATS ARE:

🧊 GIANT HAIL (3”+ POSSIBLE): Hailstones around baseball size or larger ⚾ (locally approaching softball size 🥎)

💨 DAMAGING WINDS POSSIBLE: A wind damage threat will increase as storms cluster and move southeast. 65-70+ MPH possible.

🌪️ TORNADOES POSSIBLE (SOME POSSIBLY UP TO STRONG EF2): Strong tornadoes will be possible with discrete supercells, especially near southern Oklahoma into north Texas

➡️ WHAT TO EXPECT TIMEFRAME:

• Afternoon: Storms develop across north Texas into Oklahoma

• Late Afternoon – Evening: Discrete supercells with giant hail and strong tornado potential

• Evening – Night: Storms move into the ArkLaTex with continued wind and tornado risk

➡️ MORE DETAILS: Storms are expected to develop along boundaries across north Texas into southern Oklahoma, where conditions will favor intense supercells.

These storms will be capable of producing very large to giant hail and strong tornadoes, especially during the late afternoon and early evening.

As storms move southeast into the ArkLaTex, clustering may occur with an increasing damaging wind threat, while tornado potential continues.

Farther north into Kansas, storms may develop with a hail and wind threat, while more isolated storms in central and southwest Texas may also produce hail and strong winds.

A little Q & A this morning! 🚗❓❓
Q: What should you do if you find yourself in an accident?
A: First, call the police & make sure everyone is ok if you’re able. Second, if your vehicle is driveable come see me and we can inspect the damages and go from there. If it’s not drive able have it towed to our shop, we pay the tow bill & discuss everything else to do. Don’t immediately make an insurance claim.

Q: How long will my repair take?
A: Every job is different. We try to have the parts we know we need here before repairs begin that way we aren’t waiting around on parts. Sometimes that isn’t possible. We will keep you updated every step of the way! Our goal is to get you back in your vehicle in a timely manner but with a quality repair. We won’t rush through the repair process or cut corners!

Q: Do I have to go where the insurance tells me to?
A: NO!!!!! This is my biggest pet peeve with insurance companies! They can NOT tell you what shop to use or demand you use a certain one. They will pay for the repairs regardless so don’t let them bully you. 😡 It’s your vehicle it’s your choice who repairs it!!!
