Delivery day took a little detour today. 😂

One stop into our Houston run, the clutch decided it was done.

Finding the part for an older truck took a minute, then Buck had to get us about 12 miles through Houston traffic without a clutch just to reach the parts store.

We found the part, borrowed a few tools, added some zip ties and—somehow—my fingernail file to the repair kit, and Buck got us back on the road.

I mostly stood there and provided excellent moral support. 😂

Now we’re headed back out to finish the deliveries.

This is how legends are made.

Back at it tomorrow!!!

Buck Wild T Racing has been off the track for a few weeks while we’ve been busy at the wood yard, but Car #87 is back this weekend. 🏁

He’s made a few changes to the car, and we’re looking forward to seeing what they do tomorrow.

In the meantime, Buck’s sister and our brother-in-law showed up with some new Buck Wild T Racing shirts, so I guess we’re officially dressing the part too. 😄

Update on last night's race. There were some exciting moments, spinouts, and a fire. Good news is that we don't have any body work to do to get ready for the next race, but we do have a few leaks to deal with and some tire adjustments. All in all another opportunity to learn and have a good time!
