Fresh off the lot, tight, and just ready to have it's warranty gently massaged.

We brought this G80 M3 in, got it up in the air, and let Dalton work his magic with a set of Active Autowerke high-flow catted downpipes and a Dinan X-pipe midsection.

He measured three times, cut once, and made sure everything slid right into place exactly the way it should. Some things are better when you take your time.

The result? A note that's a little deeper, sensually louder, and brings a smile to the customer's face.

Executive sedan with an M5 heart.

This beautiful S62 swapped 2000 BMW E38 740i came through the Kadunza shop for service and a KW coilover installation.

The new KW setup gives this gentleman's saloon a sharper stance and improved handling while preserving the refined character that makes this 740i shorty such a special car.

Some builds leave the shop. Others become part of a shop’s story.

The spirit of Larry has been with us since the early days of Kadunza that created Althea. What began as an ambitious engine swap turned into years of problem-solving, setbacks, breakthroughs, and plenty of lessons learned along the way.

An S62-swapped E30 is challenging enough—but we also refused to accept the usual compromises. No subframe spacers. Kept the power brakes. Working A/C. A properly finished car that could actually be driven and enjoyed.

This build pushed us, frustrated us, and helped shape the way we approach projects today.

And yes… there are still plenty of stories left to tell.

This is Althea.

A 1987 BMW 325is S62 engine swap and retrofit project has been through it all over the past decade. Our first attempt burned down while visitng another shop for subframe fabrication in August 2016. Everything was lost except the original hood. A customer heard about our loss and brought us a solid replacement chassis a week later. Over the past 10 years we put in what little extra time we had into this passion project as our shop kept growing. Eveyone involved took their time retrofitting everything to work properly down to the brake assist, ABS, and A/C. On July 17th the proud owner took delivery of Althea and drove her to her new home in mountains of NC.
