Jim McMichael Signs was proud to create this custom plaque for the City of Knoxville Fire Department. Installed at the Downtown Fire Station, the plaque celebrates the rich history and evolution of the department’s fire engines through the years.

Pat Weeks celebrated 21 years with us on May 3rd. A valued member of our sign department, Pat brings experience, dedication, and dependability to the team every day. Today marks a special day for Jim McMichael Signs and Truck Painting. On this day back in 1964, our founder started hand lettering vehicles and signs out of the trunk of his car. What started all those years ago has grown into a full-service sign and graphic company, along with a collision repair and state-of-the-art paint facility. We are truly your one stop shop to help your business stand out. While we have grown over the past 6 decades, we are still family owned and operated (3 generations strong) and our commitment has remained the same; to deliver excellent personal customer service along with high-quality craftsmanship and dependable service on every project that comes through our doors. Many years ago, a customer asked Jim to sign his name to the work that he had completed on his vehicle and to this day this still holds true that nothing leaves our shop without this stamp of approval.
