Most importantly, don’t rush. Getting there safely is always more important than getting there a few minutes earlier.

Stay alert, take your time, and drive safe.

New paint needs time.

If your vehicle has recently been repaired and refinished, a few simple habits can help protect that fresh finish while it fully cures.

For the first couple of weeks, avoid washing the repaired area unless necessary. When you do wash it, stick with a gentle hand wash using mild automotive soap and a soft wash mitt or microfiber towel.

Avoid automatic car washes and high-pressure spray around freshly painted areas.
Bird mess, tree sap, bugs, and other contaminants should be removed as soon as possible. Use water and a soft cloth rather than scrubbing the surface.

Hold off on waxing or polishing until the paint has had enough time to cure, often around 60–90 days.

The exact timing for paint care can depend on the products used during the repair, so make sure you consult with your collision repair team.

A little extra care early on can help keep your repair looking good for years to come.

Fall will be here before we know it. And it's when small driving hazards start stacking up. Roads stay wet longer, leaves collect in places you don’t expect, and daylight disappears earlier every week. Here’s a few things to keep in mind as summer comes to a close.

1. Give yourself more stopping distance on wet or leaf-covered roads.

2. Watch for deer, especially around dawn and dusk.

3. Keep your headlights and windshield clean as daylight gets shorter.

4. Slow down in heavy rain and morning fog.

5. Check your tire tread before colder, wetter weather sets in.

6. Avoid hard braking on roads covered with wet leaves.

As always, if you need us, we're here.

Auto glass is about more than just replacing glass. In many modern cars, parts of your car’s safety system are built around cameras and sensors near the windshield.

This means proper calibration can be just as important as the glass itself.

If you need auto glass, we're a phone call away.
