Rain or shine, the East Tennessee EV community turned out! 🌧️🚘⚡

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the rainy weather on Saturday, October 10 to join us at the annual Knoxville Drive Electric Festival! As proud primary sponsors and supporters alongside event host Knoxville Electric Vehicle Association (KEVA), we were thrilled to see such an incredible turnout despite the wet conditions. It proved once again that nothing dampens enthusiasm for electric transportation across our region.

Here is a look at what was accomplished together:

⚡ Over 400 attendees came out to explore and learn
⚡ 140 electric vehicles were showcased on display
⚡ 7 local dealerships participated, bringing models for test rides and drives
⚡ Over 270 test rides and drives were completed throughout the day

Special thanks to the Knoxville Electric Vehicle Association for hosting, all the EV owners who brought out their personal vehicles to answer questions and share real-world experience, and our participating dealerships and volunteers who made the event a resounding success.

Big news in EV technology! ⚡🚗

Researchers at the University of Tennessee's Tickle College of Engineering are spearheading the development of a novel integrated EV charger-inverter. By combining two critical components into one, this innovation aims to reduce cost, lower weight, and boost efficiency for the next generation of electric vehicles.
