This is why it is imperative to check your breaks every year! Customer states he heard a noise coming from the wheel on the left side, as per our policy we inspected both sides just to find the right side even worse. Replaced them, greased the bearing with new seals and got him back on the road.

This goes for the RV dealers as well, The one thing I have found is that the extended warranty is always a good idea, especially on used units. Rv manufacturers only have a 1 or 2 yr warranty and the extended kicks in after that.

These are some examples of improperly maintained brakes and bearings. They should inspected yearly and tested before every trip and can be done while sitting in the tow vehicle.
