A customer brought in Mazda CX9 for a charging problem. It had previously had an alternator replacement but stopped charging again. After taking some of the necessary parts off it became painfully obvious that whomever worked on it before took no pride in their work. Bolts were left out, crossthreaded, and just left loose. Worse yet damage done to the radiator. Remember, cheaper isn't always better and you get what you pay for

Its been a bit since we've taken time to post . On behalf of all of us at Mr. C's I'd like to thank all of our customers both old and new for their continued business . As a small business it means so much to stay busy during times of uncertainty such as the current pandemic. Being a small business our best advertisements are our satisfied customers recommending us to friends, family, and coworkers. Many have and we really appreciate it. To the nice lady in the white Cadillac SUV this morning who stopped in our parking lot to pick up the trash that someone else had left scattered behind...THANK YOU!! I had just got here and was getting things up and going for the day, and then I was going to take a shovel and trash can out there and clean it up myself. That was a very kind and unnecessary gesture, and I wish I could have caught you in time to say that in person. If you're still driving an older model vehicle chances are that you have a replaceable fuel filter. Running with restricted fuel flow or extremely low fuel levels are some the main factors that cause electric fuel pump failures. Don't forget this in your maintenance routine. It's much cheaper than an expensive pump replacement. Below is a picture of one that had been neglected for quite some time and the dirt and debris that drained out of it.

This 2010 explorer came to the shop on a roll back after falling to pull up a steep driveway. After taking time to check it out we learned it was another victim of improper service. The transmission had been drained and "filled" by another local shop . Many newer vehicles don't have transmission dipsticks to check fluid levels and require unconventional fill procedures. They had failed to do so correctly resulting in a complete transmission failure. We installed a remanufactured transmission and got this one back on the road. Proof once again that incompetence cost you more in end. Remember if it seems too cheap there's probably a reason.
