We had the pleasure of reworking a Holmes 750 recently. The A-frame bolster bent beyond repair and bent, broke the mounting base. We removed the mast and reworked the mounting. One of the drum axles was bent. We replaced both drums with a nice used set and replaced the bolster with good used. Remounted the unit and installed 5/8” cable instead of the 3/4” rope that was on it. The larger rope destroyed this unit. The truck was in great shape and warranted the repairs.
