🚨 One of the most common places we find hidden RV water damage? The corners.

On many flat RV roofs, the raised transition strips can trap standing water right against the caulking. Everything may look perfectly fine from the outside, but water can slowly seep underneath and start rotting the roof deck.

Sometimes the only warning sign is a dirty spot where water has been sitting. 💧

Don’t assume no visible crack means no leak. Those little areas of standing water can be telling you something.

How many FlexArmor RV roofs can you spot at one rally? 👀

We walked around the Grand Design Owners National Rally in Goshen, Indiana, and counted 30 Grand Design RVs with FlexArmor roofs! 🙌

It’s pretty cool seeing that many FlexArmor roofs in one place—especially knowing these RV owners chose a seamless, sprayed RV roof with no exposed seams or annual roof caulking maintenance.

If you’re looking for an alternative to traditional RV rubber roof replacement, see why more RV owners are choosing FlexArmor.

A standard FlexArmor RV roof takes about 2½ days from start to finish when there’s no additional wood repair or unexpected damage.

That includes removing the old sealants, prepping the entire roof, addressing all the roof penetrations, spraying the seamless FlexArmor system, and putting everything back together.

No weeks in the shop. No traditional membrane replacement. Just a professionally installed, seamless sprayed RV roof built for long-term protection.

Can an RV roof REALLY make the inside of your RV 50% cooler? 🤔

We’re seeing some pretty wild claims about RV roofing and interior temperatures—but your roof surface is only one part of the equation.

☀️ Reflecting more solar heat can help reduce how much heat the roof absorbs, but the temperature INSIDE your RV is affected by much more: insulation and R-value, walls, windows, air leaks, outside temperature, sun exposure, and even how well your A/C system is performing.

If your RV has limited insulation between the roof and the ceiling, changing the roof surface doesn’t magically cut your interior temperature in half.

There’s a big difference between roof surface temperature and interior RV temperature—and when you see dramatic percentage claims, make sure you know which one they're actually talking about.

Not every RV roof goes straight into the spray bay! 👀

This fiberglass RV roof is waiting its turn for a FlexArmor roof, so we’re getting ahead of the process. We’re opening up the damaged areas now to expose any trapped moisture and make sure everything underneath has plenty of time to dry.

That way, when a bay opens up, we’re ready to get to work instead of bringing the RV inside and THEN discovering wet decking that needs days to dry.

A long-lasting RV roof starts with what you do BEFORE you ever spray. Proper prep, dry substrate, and repairing any damage underneath are just as important as the finished roof.
