Happy New Year everyone!!

Although most of 2025 was quite disappointing for us, we did finish well thanks to all the changes made in August, and thanks to each one of you - our customers!! We are now back on track and I expect 2026 to be a much improved year for us!

We made a lot of changes last year, so I don't expect too many changes this year, but there is one change I am planning to make before mid-year. Since the cafe closed in August to allow "Fizzy Bizz" to occupy the space, our name "Cafe de L**e" doesn't make sense anymore.🤔 It's actually confusing for newer customers, so I plan to change our operating name. I don't quite yet know what the new name will be, but I'm thinking on it...🤔

Also, I traveled more than usual in 2025, so I'm sorry if I missed some of you. And though I do travel every year, I'll be here more this year and hopefully will see each of you in 2026. Thank you so very much for your support and we wish you all a great year!!

Greetings everyone! I was gone for a while and finally caught up so I wanted to send out this message.

First I want to thank everyone that made an effort to get the word out about us earlier this year. Our industry had slowed down quite a bit this year and we were facing serious operational challenges. But I implemented several changes this past summer and it seems to have had a significant impact because we are back to normal here and all is well again! Thank you again for spreading the word about us!!

Next I want to say that the emissions testing is going very well so far, so if you need to test, just come by 9:30-4 M-F.

Also, our new customer appreciation program has been well received, so we will continue with it as is. If you're unaware, every 3rd oil change gets a free upgrade or a discount if "Premium" service.

"Fizzy Bizz" has been very successful since relocating here and they are happy with the decision. And it seems that our customers have also been happy with them opening in our old cafe space, which is great!

I do have one bit of bad news for a chosen few out there. The health department told us we cannot serve our blended drinks without a license even though "Fizzy Bizz" has an active license and the drinks are prepared in their space. So I had to give up all cafe drinks😒. Sorry to those of you that wanted them 😞. But you can always purchase "Fizzy Bizz" drinks or help yourself to our free coffee. If you are a Chai latte fanatic like me, just ask me about it when you're here and I'll give you options 😉.

Christmas is coming, so keep in mind that we have oil change gift cards available if you're interested. You can choose any amount you wish and we will give you a Christmas card to put it in.🎁🎄🎅

Good afternoon everyone! With the additions of emissions testing, longer hours, a customer appreciation program, and the "Fizzy Bizz" soda shop, things have been a bit busier around here. And I'd like to say thank you so much to all of you out there that have been recommending and promoting us!! Our industry has been very slow this year, and though we're not yet at the level we would like to be, we are very happy with the increase in customer traffic. So again, thank you to all of you and we'll see you again!

One more thing...
We picked so many apples off our trees and again have more apples than we can use. So if anyone wants apples, please stop in this week and take some home. Just stop by the oil change window and ask about apples. We never want to see them go to waste!

News from Cafe de L**e: WI emissions testing is finally available!! Or at least it will be starting tomorrow, Wednesday August 27th😉. Testing hours are M-F 9:30-4. Sorry for the long delay, but things just did not fall into place well. We hope this will be helpful to our customers and we hope to process vehicles very quickly once the learning curve is over in a couple of weeks or so. We wish everyone a nice holiday weekend and we'll see you in the future!

Hello everyone! I'm a bit late on posting again, but I have been waiting and waiting for the emissions testing equipment installation. Finally someone showed up today, but now they are expecting to install the week of August 25th. We here at "Cafe de L**e" have been ready for almost a month now, but they keep delaying our install due to vacationing employees. So I wanted to apologize for the ongoing delays.

"Fizzy Bizz" did open for business yesterday in our former cafe area. Their hours are 1-8 pm Monday-Saturday if anyone wants to try them out inside or at the drive-thru. Oil change customers still wait in the same area as always, it's just a different looking environment.

Lastly, we did begin our customer appreciation program in July. Now every third oil change receives a complimentary service upgrade. If the customer is already receiving the top service, then a $10 discount is applied to their ticket. We're going to try it out for several months and see how it is received. Hopefully it is well received.

Thank you yet again to everyone out there helping to support our business with your patronage. It is appreciated more than you could know!!

Greetings all!

It's time to reveal that the cafe is transforming into a soda pop shop. The owners of Fizzy Bizz, currently located inside of the ice cream shop on 60th street, are relocating their business into our cafe area. They plan to be up and running by the first week in August. Obviously we here at Cafe de L**e are hoping this change will be beneficial to all. It will offer up new options and give our 17 year old cafe area a refresh. I will continue to own the building and operate the oil change facility just as I always have. Oil change customers will still wait in the same area, it will just be a very different look. Free coffee will continue to be offered to our customers, as well as a few of our frappe drinks (including our coveted Chai latte). I sincerely hope that this endeavor has only positive effects going forward, but please do let us know if you have any questions or concerns. And as always, we appreciate each and every one of you. Happy Sunday everyone!

Just a quick note to let all know that emissions testing is just a few weeks away now. Late July to early August will see us begin. I will post once we are up and running!

And I will post an update by early next week on the upcoming changes to the cafe area.

Also, we did implement a customer appreciation program as of July 1st. Customers now receive a complimentary service upgrade every 3rd oil change. We hope that our customers will benefit from this new program and we welcome any comments regarding it.
